Happy 5th Birthday Cailin

Dear Cailin,

Today you turned 5. You are already a little fashionista. i love your quirky style. Your fearlessness. During my pregnancy someone told me they could tell you would be an artist, so i knew before I ever met you that this would happen. I didnt know if you would be a dancer or a musician or a painter...and you still may be any or all of those things. BUT you are most definetly a trend setting fashionista. You love hair and makeup( especially lip gloss ) and clothes. I imagine you will grow up to be a fashion designer or a hair stylist. Your passion for these things is already overflowing. I love it. I love that you are already your own person.

I love your kindness, and appreciate your independence, although I wish you would stay small for much longer. My darling first born. I love you so much. The day you were born I was forever changed. I feel so lucky to be your mommy. I hope you always stay the free spirit you hage always been, so sure of what you want and like.
